As a valued Beyond Shades customer, you can enjoy complimentary temporary paper shades while your shades are currently being repaired. These temporary shades are only available for pick up from our showroom in Oakbrook Terrace.

Repairs, Warranty, Service Visits, Parts, and Installer Visits

If you purchased your Hunter Douglas Window coverings from Beyond Shades:

Within the first year of your initial (first) installation visit, all warranty-related repairs, service visits, installation, and or parts are at no cost to you.
After a year, anything covered under warranty remains at no charge to you when you bring your shade into a Beyond Shades Hunter Douglas Gallery.
- There is a service charge for the installer to come to your home to service your shade at this point.
  - The charge is per visit and is a minimum of $150 ($200 for City of Chicago or over 15 miles from our Oakbrook Terrace Gallery).
  - Additional fees apply including: parking, high ladder, distances over 15 miles from our Oak Brook Terrace Gallery.
- When you deliver your Hunter Douglas shades to our gallery, we cover all costs related to packaging, shipping, and handling your shades for in warranty related repair or adjustments.
- Parts under warranty are free to you including shipping them directly to you when possible. We cover shipping of parts to you.
- Repairs for products covered under warranty remain free to you when you bring your shades to our Beyond Shades Hunter Douglas Gallery.
If your repair is not under warranty, we will inform you of the fees associated with fixing your shade if it is possible to repair.

If you did not purchase your Hunter Douglas Shades from Beyond Shades:

Repairs: We can help you with your Hunter Douglas window coverings repair. We will need your original receipt or a photo of the label in the headrail of your shades. With this information, we will be able to tell you if your shade can be repaired and confirm your cost.
- There is a minimum fee of $150 per shade to repair your shade when you deliver it to a Beyond Shades Hunter Douglas Gallery.
- There is an additional service fee per visit for one of our installers to come to your home. The charge is per visit and is a minimum of $150 ($200 for City of Chicago or over 15 miles from Oakbrook Terrace Gallery).
- Additional fees apply including: parking, high ladder, distances over 15 miles from our Oak Brook Terrace Gallery.

Parts: We can assist you with your Hunter Douglas Parts. The cost for parts starts at $5 per part with a minimum of $15 for parts.
