Beyond Shades provided excellent customer service and installation! We were informed regularly thought out the production phase and then the installer was able to get out quickly once product arrived. I've used Beyond Shades several times and am happy to refer them to friends and family.

The team at Beyond Shades was outstanding at every step of the process. My wife and I knew we needed new window treatments, but didn’t really have a good strategy for what was needed. (My own personal sense of style is not great, andmy much-better half was not familiar with all the offerings). The owner of Beyond Shades, Rachel, personally helped us determine what she thought were 3 preferred options, and came to our home to help assess the situation. After making the selection of Hunter Douglas products (buy the best and only cry once), the installation techs were absolutely top-notch professionals in terms of taking measurements, carefully preparing their work area, and doing the installation with obvious skill and professionalism. You couldn’t ask for better service or products.

Poor customer service. We came in weeks to get a quote and inquire about drapes and sheer. However, representative in the store did everything she could to not help us. Despite request, we were not helped with selection and were not given a quote. We had to leave with nothing.

I ordered a shade from Beyond Shades for my front door side light. Made the mistake of ordering a non-operable one (my fault). The customer service associates at the Oakbrook location wanted to make it right, and suggested ordering a new one that goes up & down. The installer came and took the first one down carefully, and even puttied the holes. The new one is wonderful, and exactly what I wanted. VERY HAPPY! They were professional, and followed up on if I was satisfied or not. I would highly recommend this store and the blinds they carry. I actually have Hunter Douglas through my entire house, and have never had a problem with them. Even have remote control blinds (up very high) which I love.

Beyond Shades has a wide selection of excellent window treatments.The sales people are very knowledgeable and helpful.They kept us informed of delivery dates and instillation times. If they expected to be a little late because of extreme weather conditions, they called to let us know.The installers were extremely courteous, neat, snd careful when installing our sky light shades !I highly recommend Beyond Shades for all needs you may have for window treatments !We received excellent products and service from Beyond Shades. It was very evident that they care about the satisfaction of their customers .

Store was great - the staff is really friendly and helpful walking us through all the options and costs. Their installers were equally knowledgeable and friendly. We were very impressed with Diego's technical knowledge about automated blinds. I would highly recommend Beyond Shades because they are great to work with and fast - order to install was 3 weeks.

I recently had new window treatments installed in our new home, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I went back and forth on the design, color, and type I wanted across a period of about a month, but the employees at Beyond Shades were patient and helped me find the perfect window treatments for my home. It was especially helpful to go into the showroom/store to see the options up close, and to scale. I would recommend!

We recently had Beyond Shades install Vignette Shades in our home. Rachel (1) was very helpful with the selection of the shades. Laura G. was very efficient with keeping us informed on our delivery and installation. Diego, our installer, was great in installing the new shades and also installing the older shades in other parts of the house. Rachel (2) was very helpful with information as customer service. Overall, I'd highly recommend Beyond Shade for your new shades.

I am a repeat customer of Beyond Shades. Just as with my initial experience, my expectations were exceeded. The owner, Rachel, did a fabulous job helping me to choose fabric for custom drapes. Given current circumstances with COVID, I was impressed with her flexibility in providing virtual design consultation and supplying by mail samples for me to review.I also had in my mind a specific design concept for one set of windows in my home that I saw online on a design app. When I presented this idea to her she did not hesitate in stating that she could recreate the look. The final product transformed my windows for the better. Also her team of installers led by Kary are phenomenal. They are very attentive to customer satisfaction.From beginning to the end (and everything in between) customer service was top notch. I know the store is managing multiple customers at a time, but you are always treated like you are the only customer in the room! I Highly recommend and I plan on using Beyond shades for my window treatment needs again in the future.

Beyond Shades was wonderful to work with! This was our first time buying shades and they took the time to find the right option for our new home. We ordered the shades right before the shelter in place started and even during a pandemic they were fantastic. I got frequent updates on the status on our shades and when they could finally be installed, our installer made sure we felt comfortable/were happy with everything. I’d highly recommend them to everyone! It says a lot about a company who has excellent customer service during a pandemic. Can’t thank them enough! Love the way they make our house feel even more like a home.

I cannot say more good things about Rachel and Beyond Shades. Rachel is very nice and patient. Most importantly, she is truly honest! It was very easy and straightforward to do business with Rachel. Of course I shop around as you all do! Rachel was the first one I consulted and she offered me the lowest price. Some other vendors later wanted to match hers but sorry, too late, honesty should be rewarded! And the products and installation were directly from Hunter Douglas that are top notch, needless to mention! I really want to recommend Beyond Shades to everyone, especially to those who live in Chicago downtown! Rachel can save you thousands of dollars for the exact same product comparing to those vendors in downtown! It is definitely worth of the drive to visit her showroom in the suburb!

I absolutely love my Pirouettes and Custom panels from Beyond Shades. Rachel & her team exceeded my expectations. I knew I was in the right hands when I walked into Rachel’s gallery in Oak Brook, and after we briefly talked about my color and style preference, she pulled out several fabric books and as I started going through them I pulled out a few and said, “I LIKE this one & that one”. She said, “let’s keep looking until you LOVE it!” This was her response to everything from rod style/color, finials, panels to pirouette color/texture. And once I thought I knew what I wanted she said great, I’m sending swatches to your house so you can see them in your space before you decide. That was the best advice ever because the panels I thought I liked best are not the panels I ended up with. As soon as I opened the swatch of the one I chose, while standing in the living room, I knew immediately that was the one. Treat yourself or your significant other to new window treatments for Valentine’s Day, Birthday, Mother’s Day or just because!

I had a terrific experience with beyond shades. I was looking for a specific blind sold by a specific manufacturer. I did a Google search and found this company. The customer service has been phenomenal. My representative was so patient with explaining my options and what would work best for me. She priced so many options out and have great recommendations. The blinds arrived ahead of schedule. My installer was also terrific. He was friendly, fast and efficient. My blinds are beautiful!!! I love them and have nothing but good things to say about the construction of them. I'm glad Google led me to them. This was a great experience. I would 100% recommend them for customized blinds.

Rachel was excellent to work with. Every appointment was timely. She had honest and helpful suggestions, didn’t oversell, and was very flexible when we wanted to make some changes. She was always available over text to bounce ideas off of, even nights and weekends. Best of all, the window treatments came In super fast and installation was fast and they even helped me fix some other broken blinds in my house while they were here. Highly recommend!

I love my new vertical blinds. My salesperson helped me work within my budget to find blinds that are exactly what I was looking for. Setting appointments for measuring and Installation was easy and the installer was professional and answered all my questions. Customer service was fantastic. From the moment I stepped into the showroom I sensed selecting my new window treatments would be a great experience. Michelle asked all the right questions to show me options (full size displays), and then helped me to zero in on what really appealed to me. When I was ready, Rachel came to my home with large size samples of the type and color treatments I liked. Again, with all the right questions she helped me make a decision. Pricing was right for my budget so we placed the order. Within a week (a holiday week at that) Kary came by to measure. He answered many questions (again!) and explained how the shades would be installed. They were ordered, and arrived ahead of schedule. Louis was able to install the shades on the same day they called to set a time, and did a great job!From the short start to finish timeline, everyone (mentioned above plus a few others who I talked with on the phone) was wonderful to deal with. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. This is truly a topnotch company, and I highly recommend Beyond Shades in Oakbrook Terrace for ALL your window coverings, you will be glad you did!

Excellent experience beginning to end. I knew I wanted to change from drapes to shades in my Family Room, so I stopped by for information. The Showroom is amazing and the staff friendly and professional. I was sent samples prior to my appointment. At my appointment, the Principal Designer/Owner gave me excellent ideas for window covering. Follow-up was spot on, my shades actually arrived early. Installation was very professional and the shades are perfect. I am very happy with the results and the whole experience.

I moved into a condo and needed a vertical blind for the patio door/window. Several people on a a Facebook group I follow recommended Beyond Shades so I called them to get an estimate. They came out and I picked the one I wanted. They placed the order and a month or so later I had my new Hunter Douglas vertical blind. Was very happy with the whole experience; the selection process and the installation were great!

This is the second time I have used Rachel with Beyond Shades with Kary as the professional installer and their service and design work does not disappoint. The initial visit with Rachel to choose window treatments to pull kitchen and den together was fun, and we looked through many options together. She listened to my concerns and thoughts, and steered me in the right direction. After a kitchen redo, I certainly needed some guidance.Today installation is done, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how the treatments bring the rooms together. I am so very pleased. We needed full blinds installations for our new condo quickly, and Beyond Shades was instantly helpful and accommodating. From the initial Q/A on their website where they reached out within the hour, to arranging for a free in-home consultation after our standard work hours when we could be home within a week, to ordering and ensuring the blinds were installed quickly and beautifully the moment the custom blinds came in. I bought blinds for all the windows in our new home and couldn't be more pleased. Having never bought blinds before (this is our first home), I was overwhelmed, but Rachel came and helped us pick blinds for every window. She has a great sense of what the customer likes and what looks good and will function well for every window. And Rose and Victoria (who work at the store) were great too when I had questions and came to visit and check out all the blind styles in person. Lastly, the installation crew was great about contacting and scheduling installation. They were also friendly and helpful answering my questions and making some tweaks of certain blinds while onsite to make sure I was completely happy with my blinds. I highly recommend Beyond Shades if changing one or many windows in your home. And you can't go wrong with Hunter Douglas - best quality window treatments on the market!

Found the hunter Douglas duolite shades online Went into beyond shades showroom and saw them with PowerView and had to have them! Kary the install wizard came out to measure and made a few great suggestions Communication was thorough and efficient I was informed the blinds were in and Kary called the next day to schedule install I love my new power shades and can’t speak highly enough about Rachel and her team!
